About the role:

The HR Admin Specialist provides a coordinated HR admin support function to our local and/or global clients that supports their overall business objectives and priorities.

 

The HR Admin Specialist is responsible for delivering tasks in the consistent and effective manner applying policies, programs, procedures, and practices aligned with the Global HR Admin service. The job holder has to provide basic HR administration operational knowledge as well as HR systems basic understanding and knowledge on HR compliance. Motivation for further technical learning, in depth understanding of delegated tasks and personal growth is prevailing factor.

 

Key responsibilites:

  • First line of contact for Clients and colleagues on HR Admin related matters and questions – accountable for overall service delivery for Clients, identifying risks and opportunities for retention and growth.
  • Day-to-day support in HR Administration such as on- and offboarding, employee data changes, absence registration, access to portals, 30%-facility applications, Work permit applications, UWV request and follow up.
  • Support and drive initiatives to improve client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies and 3rd party provides to resolve issues on Client´s behalf.
  • Provide HR compliance by maintaining Statutory in country portals on client´s behalf.
  • Updating HR databases (e.g. Workday, Horizon, etc.).
  • Preparing and amending HR documents and templates, i.e. employment contracts, offer letters, employee life cycle documents, certificates etc.
  • Keep up to date on labor policies, compliance & procedures and ensuring correct communication and implementation for clients.

 

Qualifications

  • A finished MBO/HBO degree in Law and/or Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration or another related field, or willing to follow HR related education;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an international organization as HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Generalist or similar;
  • Ability to engage with clients and understand their goals and needs;
  • You are service oriented, responsible, pragmatic, collaborative, a problem solver and a strong communicator;
  • Strong coordinating skills, being able to keep track of several different workflows in a high-paced work environment;
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Contribute to team success by being team player.
  • You are fluent in both English and Dutch;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
