As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
Job purpose:
The Client Acceptance Officer will handle legal, compliance, financial and administrative matters of prospective client companies including ensuring full compliance with TMF Acceptance policies in the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
Build up a strong working relationship with team members, other colleagues (such as Compliance, Legal team, Tax team, Service Delivery Teams, global and local sales staff), prospective clients and third parties (such as business partners - as applicable) and at the same time ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
Monitor the progress of ongoing matters. Identify problems timeously and take actions (in consultation with the (Senior) Client Acceptance Officer
Draft and / or review standard legal documents e.g., Service Agreements and Statements of Work in accordance with local and Global standards
Collect, review and assess relevant (legal) documentation and advice from third parties and evaluate suitability to complete Compliance requirements
Organise the correspondence file, have the company file prepared, and supervise the input of documents and information in the company file.
End to end onboarding coordination with minimum assistance of the Senior Client Acceptance Officer.
Prepare a concise and complete handover to the service delivery teams
Attend and carry out calls and meetings with various stakeholders (such as the Client, the clients’ advisors, Compliance, Legal team, Tax team, Service Delivery Teams, global and local sales staff)
Ensuring all activities are in line with applicable internal guidelines and execute any activities necessary which are required from a sound compliance point of view.
Keep records per account of own worked hours on a daily to weekly basis.
Act as gatekeeper of the Dutch financial system as required by local and international laws and regulations.
Perform any other tasks and duties as requested or assigned by the Supervisor, (Senior) Client Acceptance Officer.
Assist with proper education and training of Junior colleagues
Key Requirements
Degree in Law or in related area is preferred,
A minimum of 2-5 years relevant (preferably legal) working experience
AML/KYC experience is a plus
Prepared to follow the Basic Trust Officer course and other relevant courses
Knowledge of corporate law and regulations
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (proficient in another language beneficial)
General interest in international financial/capital markets and financial instruments.
