Discover the role:

The objective is to design, develop, customize, and administer event management-based tools & systems that align with Application events, infrastructure events, network events, with advanced analysis and troubleshooting. Creating and maintaining technical documentation with respect to system design

Key Accountabilities:  

  • Experience with the Deployment and administration of BMC Helix Operation Management
  • Experience in Installation and configuration of Linux server, proxy, docker, docker proxy and BHOM Intelligent Integrations
  • Experience with the installation and administration of Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager 2012 and 2016 & other monitoring tools in market
  • Experience in application network performance and availability monitoring
  • Perform product migration & upgrade
  • Management pack authoring knowledge. Working knowledge on use of Microsoft Windows
  • PowerShell scripting engine to automate tasks with SCOM
  • Integrating SCOM monitoring solution with ticketing using connectors setting up required logic
  • Routinely review monitoring systems and services to ensure stability and security
  • Deliver Custom out of box monitoring requests. Cross platform Monitoring configuration and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge on Cloud Fundamentals Active directory Windows operating system
  • Monitoring awareness for cloud-based applications or third-party application monitoring configuration Basic knowledge on Cloud Fundamentals Active directory Windows operating system
  • Troubleshooting skills for monitoring agent daily operational queries platform server issues. ITIL process knowledge

Key Capabilities:  

  • 3 to 6 years related work experience in designing and building Observability capabilities using tools like SCOM, site24x7, BHOM, Service Modeling, Incident Routing & integration.
  • Experience with BHOM (BMC Helix Operation Management) tool is must.
  • Good Analytical skills - ability to understand requirements, identify solutions, design, and implement the same.
  • Integration of monitoring tools with different systems
  • Good knowledge of reporting
  • Experience in monitoring tools, application Performance management tools. Operations management tool with AIOPS and so.
  • Experience in Dashboard Tools
  • Experience in ITSM tools & terminology
  • Experience in various software’s like end point management tools, BMC remedy, Asset management tools, etc
